The faculty members will discuss the importance of race, cultural competency and proactive approaches led by the prosecutor at this unique time in our country’s history.  They will focus on the need for prosecutors and other leaders in the criminal justice community to not just state that they are not racist but to assertively be anti-racist.  They stress the obligation of the prosecutor as the key player in the community to lead the charge of showing in your practices, policies, and community initiatives that you have made a conscious decision to move forward with actions and not mere words.
